Friday-night perimeter loss near the Lowry Street Corridor
I remember a call from a contractor working near the Lowry Street Corridor, where the ground still held heat from the day and the wind kept pushing dust through the lot. A gate had been left open after a long shift, and by the time the crew spotted it, tools had already gone missing. With heavy equipment sitting inside and traffic moving close by, the site had turned into an easy target, and the next break-in could've shut the whole project down.
We rolled out our emergency trailer setup, set posts where the grade still gave us a solid bite, and locked the weak access point with bracing and privacy mesh so the interior stayed out of sight. I had our crew check the corners twice because thieves look for the soft spot, not the obvious one. We tightened the perimeter before the next shift came in, and the contractor got back to work without another overnight loss.
That night proved it wasn't just a fence, it was the only thing standing between my job site and a lawsuit.
